Jointline Limited has successfully completed the task of refreshing and relining three multi-game courts at a prestigious independent school in Sheffield. The project was completed in just two days during the summer holidays to minimise disruption to the students and their sports activity calendar.

The project involved applying Sports Coatings' Dark Blue Sports-Cote Premium Polyurethane Acrylic Water coating to the courts. This advanced surface coating is specifically designed for porous macadam tennis and netball courts, known for its environmental friendliness, durability, and aesthetic appeal, exceeding SAPCA standards. The courts were then finished with white lining for the tennis courts and yellow demarcations for the netball courts, following the previous markings.

Matt Ragless, Head of Central Lining at Jointline, expressed his satisfaction with the project, stating, "We are proud to have been a part of this essential sports surface renovation. Our team's dedication to quality and speed ensured the courts were rejuvenated using the state-of-the-art Sports-Cote Premium. The two-day completion time was a testament to the commitment and expertise of everyone involved."

Sports-Cote Premium is a single-pack water-based surface coating employing cutting-edge polyurethane and acrylic resin technology. It not only enhances aesthetic appeal but also ensures durability and slip resistance in compliance with SAPCA's Code of Practice for the Painting of Porous Macadam Tennis and Netball Courts. The newly relined courts now feature a clearly defined play area with an enhanced appearance.

The completion of this project not only reflects the school's commitment to providing first-class facilities for students, but the timely finish during the summer holidays was strategic, enabling the usual sports activities to resume without interruption once the school year commences. The quality of the work and minimal impact on daily routines has garnered appreciation from parents, teachers, and students alike.

The collaboration between Jointline and the school underscores how industry expertise and a commitment to quality can lead to a successful project for all parties involved. Jointline's reputation for providing lining and coating services for MUGAs (Multi-Use Games Areas) has been further solidified with this latest achievement.

The school's investment in its sports facilities emphasises the role of sports in education and community building. By providing courts up to professional standards, the school is nurturing future talents and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
