Jointline Completes Resin Bound Project in Brigg

Introduction

Jointline's surface dressing division recently completed a resin bound surfacing project at Bridge Place, off Falcon Way, Brigg. The project entailed the application of 295 square metres of resin-bound surfacing at a depth of 20mm, utilising Leeson Bound UVR resin paired with a 'Cottage Gold blend' of aggregates. The chosen aggregate blend, comprising autumn quartz, golden quartz, and golden pea, was selected for its aesthetic appeal and durability, aligning with the project's standards for both functionality and visual attractiveness.

The Challenge

The project was confronted with a series of challenges that tested the adaptability and resilience of the team. The foremost hurdle was the unpredictable weather conditions, which necessitated weekly adjustments to the project schedule. This level of flexibility was paramount to ensure the project's progression despite the environmental unpredictability.

Another significant challenge was the project's timeline, which coincided with the arrival of new residents into adjacent apartment complexes. This necessitated meticulous planning and coordination to ensure continuous access for the residents, highlighting the importance of minimising disruption while maintaining progress.

Moreover, the project was under a tight deadline, the constrained timeline demanded efficient workflow management and the strategic allocation of additional resources to meet the project objectives within the stipulated period.

The Results

In response to these challenges, Jointline demonstrated exceptional resourcefulness by allocating extra resources and employing strategic planning to ensure the project remained on schedule. This proactive approach enabled the team to adeptly navigate the complexities presented by the weather and logistical constraints, culminating in the successful completion of the project by the deadline.

The project stands as a testament to Jointline's commitment to excellence, showcasing the company's ability to manage unforeseen challenges, maintain high-quality standards, and fulfill commitments to both clients and the community. The successful application of the resin-bound surfacing, achieved under challenging circumstances, not only meets the aesthetic and durability criteria set forth by the project but also reinforces Jointline's reputation as a leader in the specialist surfacing sector. This case study exemplifies the company's dedication to achieving exemplary results, regardless of the challenges encountered.
