Their shared goal was to introduce 10 to 18-year-olds to potential careers in the construction and highways line marking sector. The event aimed to inspire the next generation through interactive displays, informative sessions, and engaging demonstrations.
Jointline was especially proud to collaborate with the Road Safety Markings Association, emphasising their commitment to supporting Lincolnshire's schoolchildren and promoting road safety within the construction industry.
The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and interest in the diversity of careers available within the Construction Industry. For three days, the Showground is converted into a workshop for over 16 different activities including; line marking, joinery, plastering, plumbing, building, painting and decorating. As well as trying the various activities for themselves, the students are able to quiz the professionals on the industry, and what day to day life in construction trades is like.
