Read case studyJointline are proud to announce that the Lincoln and Bradford depots have passed the audits to achieve Bronze accreditation under the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS).
Becoming FORS-accredited is a way for fleet operators to set themselves apart from the competition and demonstrate their dedication to safety, efficiency and environmental protection.
To become FORS-accredited, a company must be able to document that it adheres to the very highest safety standards. They must also carry out comprehensive risk assessments, record any incidents and provide driver training that covers all aspects of safe driving.
Jointline first achieved FORS accreditation in 2014, and since then have achieved the same exemplary standards each year at both the Lincoln and Bradford Depots.
John Robertson, Transport Manager, said: “We're thrilled to have once again been successful in achieving Bronze FORS accreditation. As a business we are fully committed to reducing our environmental impact in every way possible.
By working to the FORS standard, we've been able to explore every possible way to lower our emissions and reduce our fleet's carbon footprint. This helps us to ensure that we are taking the most efficient and effective steps possible to protect the environment.
Maintaining our FORS accreditation also sends a signal to all our customers that they're choosing a business that will always work to the highest standards of professionalism and safety. It shows that we're serious about ensuring that our staff and customers are always in safe hands. Our plan for next year is to continue maintaining our high standards and aim for Silver accreditation.”
