Jointline recently completed another successful installation for one of our longstanding and valued clients, Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The installation was carried out on Main Street, Addingham, where the Bradford depot installed three preformed "Coronation ducks" in preparation for the upcoming King's Coronation on Saturday.

The "Coronation ducks" are a unique and eye-catching design that have been specifically created for the upcoming Kings Coronation. The design features three ducks, each wearing a crown, arranged in a line to represent the King and his two heirs. The installation is part of the council's preparations to celebrate the coronation of King Charles, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 6th May.

Preformed road markings are an innovative and cost-effective solution for creating long-lasting and durable road markings. These markings are made from thermoplastic materials, which are pre-cut into shapes and designs that can be easily applied to the road surface using heat. This process results in highly visible and durable markings that can withstand heavy traffic and adverse weather conditions.

Coronation Ducks installed by Jointline

The coronation of King Charles is a historic event that marks the beginning of a new era in the United Kingdom. The ceremony, which will take place at Westminster Abbey, will see the King formally crowned and anointed as the monarch of the UK and the Commonwealth. The coronation is a significant event in the nation's history, and preparations for the event are underway across the country.

Jointline's installation of the "Coronation ducks" is just one example of the many ways in which local authorities are preparing for the coronation. The installation serves not only as a visual reminder of the event but also as a practical solution to help manage traffic and ensure the safety of all those attending the celebrations.

Commenting on the installation, Jonathan Warriss, Operations Manager for Jointline said: "We are delighted to have completed this installation for Bradford Council, alongside Addingham Parish Council in preparation for the King's Coronation. The 'Coronation ducks' are a unique and innovative design that we are proud to have been a part of. The team, led by our Senior Supervisor Darren Reynolds, have done an amazing job on this scheme, and they should be proud of themselves. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the council and delivering high-quality road marking and surfacing solutions for their ongoing projects."
