Jointline Completes Stunning Resin Bound Project at Private Residence

Jointline, has successfully completed a stunning resin bound project at a private residence. The project involved constructing a rear driveway for convenient garage access and an eye-catching statement driveway with a front turning circle.

Covering an impressive area of 622 square meters, our surfacing team utilised the finest Leeson UV stable resin to ensure long-lasting durability. To seamlessly blend with the property's construction material and enhance the overall aesthetic appeal, we laid a carefully selected Daltex cappuccino blend of aggregates at a thickness of 25mm.

While our main goal was to deliver excellence, we faced several challenges, including weather conditions. We had to schedule the work around hot weather to prevent adverse effects on the resin's curing process. Additionally, coordinating with other trades in the area was crucial for a smooth workflow.

One logistical hurdle we encountered was the remote location of the project. To overcome this, we delivered materials in smaller quantities, requiring careful planning and resource management. However, we collaborated closely with the client's landscaping team to ensure a seamless operation that met all requirements.

To achieve a flawless finish, we implemented careful scheduling to avoid day joints in the resin bound surfaces. Day joints are visible lines that occur when resin installations are interrupted and resumed at a later time. We scheduled additional labour to work continuously, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted application of the resin throughout the project.
