We are happy to announce that we have commenced works on the A161 Safer Roads Scheme in Nottinghamshire. The scheme for long-standing client, Tarmac, is approximately 5km long and is scheduled to be completed in phases over 4 weeks. The Jointline road marking crew are installing 150mm Rib-line on the edges instead of 100mm flat line on the edge of the road where accidents are more often reported. Hot HFS is being applied on the high accident spots and C80 Road Studs to make the roads safer for all road users.

Our operatives who are installing the road markings are doing a great job and we are proud to recognise them.  Foreman, Ricky Keeling is operating our Borum Master 5000 machine, and the markings are coming out nicely. Ryan Hobson is doing a mixture of handwork and keeping the boilers topped up to ensure continuous operation of the machine. Ryan is being assisted by operative, Trevor Scholey, who recently passed his NVQ Level 2 and is proving to be a valued member of the Jointline team.

The contract is supported by Tarmac Supervisor, Phillip Perrin Brown, who works alongside the Jointline crews and Contract Manager, Gareth Keeling, on most of the surfacing schemes that we complete for Tarmac. The strong working relationships that our crews have with our clients is one of the reasons that we have many more projects in the pipeline over the next few months.
