Read case studyJointline are pleased to announce that we have been appointed by Derby City Council to complete improvement works at Oakwood Park in Derby.
The works will involve the removal of existing timber footpath edgings and the excavation of existing footpaths to increase the width to 2m. Stone sub-base levels will be reinstated to the correct level to eliminate any low areas with new pre-cast concrete edgings and the resurfacing of paths with tarmac.
The existing footpaths also suffered damage from heavy rainfall, the installation of land drainage in localised areas will help reduce surface water and prevent icing in the winter months.
The 8-week programme of works is due to commence at the beginning of September. Temporary footpaths along with diversion signing & guarding will be in place to redirect pedestrians to ensure public safety and allow access for park users.
