Read case studyJointline and Tarmac have successfully refurbished the playground at Boroughbridge Primary School. Notably, the entire project was executed free of charge, exemplifying both companies' commitment to social value and community betterment.
The refurbishment included the installation of various preformed road markings such as centre lines, give ways, roundabouts, and zebra crossings.
The new playground roadway measures 1200mm in width, with preformed markings approximately 450mm wide. Zebra crossings are also 1200mm wide, featuring 50mm lane lines. The preformed line markings were supplied free of charge by Hitex Traffic Safety.
This initiative serves as a prime example of corporate social responsibility in the civil engineering and construction sectors. Jonathan Warriss, Operations Manager, for Jointline said: "Working in collaboration with a client like Tarmac to benefit a school and its pupils is incredibly rewarding. This project goes beyond mere infrastructure improvement; it's a tangible expression of our commitment to social responsibility and community well-being."
