Colin Dunham from the Lincoln depot has been taking part in Jeffery’s Biker Journey to help raise awareness and nearly £15,000 for Jeffery Charlesworth and other children suffering from CLN2 Battens Disease.
Jeff DaBear, a biker bear, is in the final stages of an epic cross-country journey being passed from biker to biker. On Sunday 9th of October Jeff was passed to Colin by Freddie Sheddington at Gateway Park McDonald's in Lincoln. Jeff has enjoyed his week visiting sites with Colin, helping the Jointline accounts team balance the books and heading out for several evening bike rides.
This weekend Jeff is delivering emotional support bears to children with Battens Disease in South Yorkshire before heading up to Squires Cafe Bar in Newthorpe, Leeds. He will be camping overnight with 60+ of his biker friends and riding up to Accrington Stanley Football Club on Sunday for his homecoming.
