Read case studyAs part of our commitment to the SDF contract for National Highways in the North-East of England, Jointline pledged to donate £3500 per year to the Woodland Trust in areas 12 & 14 for the 6-year duration of the contract.
We are proud to announce that we recently made our first donation to be spread across woodland projects throughout the Northeast that will cover W Wood in Blackburn, Dransfield Wood in Mirfield, Spoilbank Wood in Dalton on Tees and Langton Wood in Redmarshall.
Our donations will mitigate our carbon footprint by approximately 140 tonnes per annum, helping create a healthy environment and reduce the harmful effects of CO2 emissions. We are excited to be making this contribution as not only do trees help improve air quality, but they are also great carbon capture and storage machines. By absorbing atmospheric carbon and locking it up for centuries, trees are a significant contributor to mitigating climate change!
