Jointline has successfully completed a contract at Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park for McArdle Sport Tec. The Jointline team delivered high-quality line markings for two refurbished Artificial Sport Pitches.
The contract involved providing the finishing touch line marking to the recently resurfaced 3G Pitches installed by McArdle’s, a specialist contractor in sports surfaces.
The two 3G pitches that needed marking were:
One pitch featuring inlaid white lining for rugby, in which Jointline were contracted to line mark a regulation American football pitch, finished in orange, and two 7 a-side pitches, finished in blue.
The other pitch that was finished with an inlaid white 11 a-side football pitch, in which Jointline line marked a 7 a-side football pitch.
All line markings were executed using Sports Coatings Sports-Line AG, a premium artificial grass and polymeric surface line-marking paint. This paint offers excellent durability, colour retention, and resistance to wear and tear. Importantly, it meets and exceeds the necessary player/surface interaction characteristics to comply with current SAPCA (Sports and Play Construction Association) standards.
Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park, located on Bawtry Road in Sheffield, is a comprehensive facility offering a range of sports and recreation amenities. These include grass pitches, synthetic pitches, tennis courts, and cricket nets. The newly installed MUGAs will significantly enhance the existing provision and cater for a variety of different sports such as football, rugby, and American football.
