Last week, Jointline successfully completed a significant new road markings project at a new motorway services area. This project was crucial not only due to its scale but also because it had to adhere to a strict schedule to enable timely opening to the public, despite being accomplished under the harsh conditions of a typical British winter.
The primary challenge faced by the Jointline team was the inclement weather, which significantly complicated the task. Snow, ice, and sub-zero temperatures posed a threat to the project's timeline and maintaining the high standards of quality and efficiency essential for the service station's timely opening.
Recognising the critical need to stick to the programme, Jointline mobilised additional resources and adjusted the project schedule to mitigate weather-related delays. Collaborative efforts with the client were intensified; they supported our team not only logistically but also by providing morale-boosting amenities such as warm meals and drinks. This strategic adaptation ensured that productivity remained high despite the freezing conditions.
