Read case studyJointlines’ Quality Manager, Julie Davidson, recently gave up her free time to help raise money for the Full Circle Fund at the South Western Road Club ‘May Flyer sportive’. The annual cycle event starts and finishes at Cobham Village Hall and follows a meandering course around the North Downs and Surrey Hills covering 100 miles and 1900m of climbing. As a qualified soft tissue therapist, Julie provided massages and therapy treatment to the tired muscles of some of the cyclists who then provided generous donations to the Full Circle Fund.
The Full Circle Fund is a pioneer of holistic support for people of all ages with life-challenging illnesses. The charity provides effective complementary therapies, free of charge, at the hospital bedside, so that patients can have the best possible chance of recovering and returning to their normal lives. Therapies are based on the latest research and are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual patient. The dedicated team believe that everyone has the potential to recover and are committed to helping people reach their full potential.
Julie, who is a long-standing supporter of many different charities said, ‘I was so happy to give up my Sunday this past weekend to support the Full Circle Fund. The charity is committed to providing compassionate, professional, safe and supportive care for children and adults with life-challenging illnesses. I was very impressed with the work they're doing and am pleased to have been able to contribute in some small way. I encourage everyone who can to do the same!”
Jointline are proud of the Julie's charitable commitment and are pleased to support staff who wish to undertake charity work. Jointline staff are able to take time out each year to contribute in their own way or receive donations for events that they are taking part in, this generous allowance allows staff the opportunity to have an impact with charities that matter to them.
Full Circle are currently fundraising for 3 projects, find out more and donate online.
