The club also took a moment to thank their supporters including Jointline who sponsor the kit for three under 11 teams that all play in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League. The Burley Rattlers, Burley Raiders and Burley Renegades are all 9-a-side teams who are coached by Jointline’s, Jonathan Warriss.
The Trojans are a grassroots club that is passionate about football in the local community. Started in 1935, it has been playing in the village of Burley-in-Wharfedale ever since. With over 400 registered players, the club offers something for everyone, from junior sections for boys and girls to Men’s, Ladies and Veterans teams. The football ground hosts regular league and cup matches, as well as various other events throughout the year.
Jointline have been sponsoring the under 11’s teams for the past 2 years and are really pleased to be able to support communities that have a personal connection to the company. Jointline Operations Manager, Jonathan Warriss, who has coached the junior teams for the last 5 years said: “Thank you to Jointline for their sponsorship over the last 2 years and an even bigger thank you for agreeing to sponsor the team for another 2 years. It’s a great feeling knowing that the company you work for really backs you with all your passions and interests. And when you see the whole squad together with smiles on their faces it really makes all the hard work every weekend worthwhile. Onwards and upwards for next season.”
The teams have all done really well under the sponsorship and everyone in the company is looking forward to seeing them wear their Jointline kit with pride for the next 2 seasons.
