Jointline Construction have just completed a SUDS compliant car park for the residents in Grantham.

SUDS is the Sustainable Urban Drainage System

With minor earthworks and using permeable materials inlcuding the X-Grid Ground Reinforcement, Jointline Construction created a versatile parking area for the residents to ease the parking problems that the residents were experiencing.

It was apparent that there was not enough parking areas outside of the properties which caused some elderly residents to park some distance away from their properties.

Using adjacent land Jointline Construction created a even and safe parking area that complied with the local authorities remit of not allowing any surface water run off on to the highway and to safe guard the vegetation already well established. Utility covers had to be re-adjusted to meet the new levels of the new permeable surface.

Works carried out within a 1 week programme.
