Comprehensive Car Park Refresh at J N Bentley, Shifnal

Introduction

Jointline completed a full car park refresh at J N Bentley’s Shifnal site, delivering a comprehensive line marking scheme to enhance organisation, safety, and usability. The project was undertaken in collaboration with the construction team, who prepared the site through thorough sweeping ahead of the marking works.

The Challenge

The scheme required the efficient delivery of extensive markings across a large car park, including over 160 parking bays, pedestrian walkways, disabled bays, directional arrows, and zebra crossings. Tight programme constraints and unfavourable weather conditions posed a risk to completion, requiring careful coordination and extended working hours to maintain progress.

The Solution

Jointline Operatives led the line marking works, completing approximately 95% of the site within a single shift. Close collaboration with the construction team ensured the surface was fully prepared, allowing works to proceed without delay.

Despite challenging weather conditions, the team extended working hours until 8pm to maximise productivity and maintain the programme, ensuring the site was in a strong position for completion the following day.
